UPDATE: I stayed. Now I write about living in Berlin, creativity, destiny, and not being able to read packages at the grocery store.

This blog is a casual catalog of the 30 days leading up to my move abroad. Will I stay? Will I come back to Los Angeles, eventually? I wish to not yet know.

In Thoreau’s Walden, he talks about why he went to the woods. From the chapter, What I Lived For, he wrote:

I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I come to die, discover that I had not lived. I do not wish to live what is not life, living is so dear…

Indeed, living is so dear.
